Below is our two-day trip recommendation according to our experience:
1- Visit to Prasat Ek Phnom ( Built of sandstone during 11 century in King Soryanvarman I era (1002-1050).
2- Visit countryside ( Bamboo paper/ Prohok Market/ Wat Samroung Khnong/ Bamboo Sticky Rice,…)
Lunch Time 🙂
3- Visit the town central area ( ancient town on street #1, #2/ #3, the Governors Residence, Museum, Sangker river and Phsar Nat).
4- Visit Ancients House (Wat Kor is classified as Cultural Village for it’s number of charming ancient wooden houses, some of which were constructed in the early 20th century.
5- Back for dinner in Battambang town.
Last day:
1- Visit Phnom Sampov Resort ( Phnom Sampov is a historical and natural resort)
2- Visit Kamping Puoy Lake (man-man lake during Khmer rough regime)
Lunch Time 🙂
3- Visit Bamboo Train ( creative moving bed on the railway, a kind of transportation, now becomes one attraction place)
4- Visit Phnom Banan Temple ( Built on the mountain peak by the king during mid 11th century and 12th century)
5- Back for dinner in Battambang town
6- Visit Phare Ponleu Selpak with Circus.
