Attraction Information
The Phnom Bok Temple, also known as Prasat Phnom Bok, is a temple located on the Phnom Bok mountain top. It’s around 22 kilometers from Krong Siem Reap. Beautiful, yet difficult to reach because tourists must climb the stairs to the summit. The temple is an Angkorian structure. It is devoted to the Hindu pantheon’s Trimurti: Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara or Shiva. It was constructed in the Bakheng style (893–927) and features independent sanctums with door entrances to the east and west.
Any on-road vehicles
Yes, as included in Angkor Pass.
I recommend you be there in late afternoon as the sun setting down, you can see a combination of the temple and the sunset together in amazement. Learn something about the temple and takes beautiful photos. You can calm yourself by sitting down and drinking some water. It really worth climbing this mountain.
