What is Cambodia on the Line project?

“Cambodia on the Line” is photography project to explore and capture any interesting moment they see on the way of Cambodian society. A professional group of Cambodian freelance photographers who loves to travel and explore came together to start this project by driving their own motors on the straight line across Cambodia, from one end of the country to the other end, that is, from the Cambodian border with Thailand to the border between Cambodia and Vietnam. The adventure is named Cambodia on the line. Cambodia on the line is targeted to across 7 provinces such as Koh Kong,Kampong Speu, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Kratie, Stung Treng and Ratanakiri with cameras. The standard of people’s living conditions, and these aspects 7 provinces on the line will be compiled as a book when Cambodia on the Line completed their mission.

As you can see the longest line within the country is from KiriSakor, Koh Kong province straight up to Kantui Neak, Ratanakiri province.
They also face some problems with places to stay at night even they have tents and food they brought from home. They also packed their first aids and some medicine pills in case they are in danger or get sick. Sometimes the mud keep them slow because they have to stop and take the mud out from their motors. The dangerous snakes, out of food and water, and across the rain they face the lightning which are quite risky.

The interesting thing is that this is a new project, sounds fun but risky. The advantages are for all people because it’s part of promoting tourism and people lifestyles in the country
This project is ,of course, entirely voluntary but due to the problems above they may in need of support for completing their mission. Feel free to contact them via their FB page and their website
